Today we are able to reproduce very likely the visual aspects, but also tactile, mother-of-pearl, horn, corozo, turtle etc…
Polyester buttons are a relatively modern reality. In France, polyester fiber and resin appeared in the 1950s. The polyester was patented by two British chemists in 1941 and bought by the Americans in 45.
